Not all developments will require resource consent. This depends on the location and type of activity you are proposing. Developments which can often require resource consent include subdivisions, multiple dwellings per site and works in flooding areas. The rules around resource consent requirements differ across each district, if in doubt, please get in touch and we can assist you navigating through Councils requirements.
